Talk to your family doctor or your psychotherapist about your sleep problems. If you are diagnosed with insomnia they can issue a prescription for somnio.
Find a physician
You can use our search tool to find a healthcare professional who can prescribe somnio in your area.
Obtain your prescription online
You can also get a prescription for somnio from your home or while being on the go. With the help of telemedicine providers, you can get medical advice for your sleep problems fast and easy via video call.
Redeem prescription
Redeem at health insurance company
Then you just need to forward your prescription to your health insurance company by post, e-mail or by using the corresponding app. Alternatively, you can upload your prescription to our website – and have somnio activated within a few days without having to worry about anything else.
Use our Prescription Transfer Service
Did you already get a prescription for somnio? Our prescription transfer service takes care of everything for you. We submit your prescription to your health insurance. The code will then be automatically sent to you.
App download and registration
Download the somnio app for free in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and log in with the data you used for registration.
After you have received your 16-digit activation code from your health insurance company (within 5-7 working days) you can register on our website for free and without obligation and activate the somnio app in just a few steps. Using our app, you can learn how to overcome your sleep problems effectively in the long term.
Rezept erhalten
Um eine Kostenrückerstattung für somnio bei deiner privaten Krankenkasse zu erhalten, benötigst du in der Regel ein Rezept oder eine ärztliche / psychotherapeutische Diagnosebestätigung.
Sprich mit deiner behandelnden Fachperson (Hausärzt:in, Fachärzt:in oder Psychotherapeut:in) über deine Schlafprobleme und frage z.B. mit dem somnio Infoblatt nach unserer App auf Rezept. Lass dir von deiner behandelnden Fachperson ein Rezept oder eine Diagnosebestätigung ausstellen.
Kostenvoranschlag erstellen
Wir empfehlen dir, dich vor dem Kauf bei deiner privaten Krankenkasse nach der Kostenübernahme von somnio zu erkundigen. Hier kannst du dir einen Kostenvoranschlag für deine private Krankenkasse herunterladen.
Sende anschließend den Kostenvoranschlag und dein Rezept/ oder deinen Diagnosenachweis an deine private Krankenkasse.

Reiche die Rechnung nach dem Kauf bei der Krankenkasse ein, um die Kosten erstattet zu bekommen (entfällt für Selbstzahlende). Selbstzahlende erhalten somnio hier.
